Project Description
Our client is seeking a 2nd semester sophomore or higher in the Boston area to assist with Inside/Outside sales and analytic activities.
Project Deliverables
Responsibilities:
• Contact potential clients through in person visits, cold calls and emails
• Present our company to potential clients
• Research new potential clients in the assigned territory
• Network within the existing and prospective client base
• Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
• Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
• Build trusting relationships with clients
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
• Meet monthly client acquisition and retention targets
• Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Company Executives
• Drive the sales closure process to contract completion
• Report to the CEO on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Our client is a company passionate about helping local businesses compete in today's digital economy. We are looking for a Sales Executive intern to represent our client in the Boston area. We looking for someone that can put themselves in our client's customers' shoes and understand their problems and how they can be solved.

The Junior Sales Executive internship is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience ina fast-growing startup environment and learn the many skills that contribute to success within a fast paced and results-oriented sales role. Reporting directly to the CEO, students will gain hands-on, real-life business training and experience to broaden their understanding of sales techniques, research strategies and the behind the scenes responsibilities necessary to take our industry leading product to market. Applicant Requirements:
ÔÇó Be a 2nd semester sophomore or higher in an area of business with proven academic success; a GPA of 3.2 or higher
ÔÇó Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours (Summer Program)
ÔÇó Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (Fall and Spring semesters)
ÔÇó Demonstrate a passion for sales
ÔÇó Be a self-starter and have demonstrated leadership experience
ÔÇó Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
ÔÇó Demonstrate research and analytical skills
ÔÇó Be involved in leadership roles on campus
ÔÇó Convey knowledge of a CRM; preferred
ÔÇó Demonstrate written and oral communication skills
ÔÇó Be able to travel to visit prospective retail clients in the Boston area (via public transportation or
ride share is acceptable)
